Both FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) are efficient hair restoration methods that are frequently combined to treat hair loss. Individual hair follicles are removed from a donor location and transplanted to balding or thinning areas in a surgical hair transplant process called FUE. Using tattoo pigments to mimic the look of hair follicles, SMP is a non-surgical cosmetic technique that gives the appearance of a thicker head of hair.
