Hi Mandy, sorry for not replying i have been on holiday. I had my hair done in july at Hair Transform in liverpool. I was going to have a consultation at Hair Solved in manchester but when I found the salon in liverpool it made more sense as its only a ten minute drive for me. The cost was £1050 and the maintenance is £75 per hour which needs to be done about every six weeks and takes a couple of hours. At first if felt really strange, it does pull around your hairline at first but you soon get used to the feel of it and it does look natural. I was really worried people would think it was fake but the colour match to my own hair is great and apart from a couple of people who know i have had it done everyone just thinks i have had my hair coloured and a really good cut i had mine cut to shoulder length with some layers and you have to have some sort of fringe to hide the stitching at the hairline but i wear mine in a ponytail or clipped back and i went swimming and it was fine. The downsides are that when you wash your hair the new hair holds a lot of water and takes ages to dry it, on holiday it was so hot that my scalp felt hot and sweaty but its a small price to pay for not having to worry about your scalp showing or getting wet etc. I have just had my first maintenance visit where all the attachments are re done and tightened up etc it took about 2 and half hours but they only charged me for 2 hours. Its worth a consultation if its not too far from you. Let me know how you get on. Sharon
